Land Rover has officially raised from the dead the Velar name, which has been what the Range Rover model was called way back in 1969. At the time, when technical engineers needed to hide the identity of the 27 pre-productions vehicles the company was working on, they decided to call the prototypes Velar C derived from the actual Latin word valare, meaning a veil.
As of at this point, the company has only launched one complete image of the Velar, from which you could deduce the impressive panoramic sunroof and a bigger infotainment system. The 2017 Vary Rover Velar will be a little bigger than the Evoque, but smaller than the Sport. From the appearance of it, the Velar appears to be more of an on-road vehicle than off-road. Apart from the above mentioned, the company has not introduced any other details as well as specifications about the luxury SUV yet.
Gerry McGovern, Get Rover Chief Design Officer, said We call this Velar the avant garde Assortment Rover.? It brings a whole new dimension of attraction, modernity and elegance to the model. The Range Rover Velar changes every little thing. Watch this place for more updates about the Velar soon.
